Terms of Service

App Studio sells fixed-scope app builds at a quoted prepaid price. This is not hourly agency work. Your brief and selected plan (or written custom quote) define the scope. Work outside that scope needs a new quote or change pack.

You must provide accurate contact details. Quotes are based on the information you submit. We may revise or withdraw a quote if the brief was incomplete or misleading.

You can delete your account from Account in the app unless you have an open project. Deleting your account does not delete repositories or live sites from a finished build.

Payment is due in full before build work starts, via Stripe Checkout or invoice as offered on your quote. Prices are as shown at checkout or on the invoice.

After payment, we build within the plan (or custom quote) limits, including the stated number of revision rounds. Extra rounds or scope changes are billed separately.

Handoff means a private code repository, a preview link, and setup notes. You own ongoing hosting, app-store accounts, and operations unless you purchase a separate Care or hosting plan from us.

On handoff, you receive rights to use and modify the deliverables we built for your project. We retain our platform, templates, tools, and know-how. You must not misuse the service for illegal content.

We may refuse, pause, or cancel projects that are abusive, illegal, infringing, or not feasible within the quoted plan. We may suspend accounts that abuse the platform or chat.

Builds are prepaid. Once your project has been queued or build work has started, fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

If you have paid but the project has not yet been queued, contact support@vilhelm.studio within 7 days to request a refund (payment-processor fees may be deducted).

Custom and Plus quotes follow the written quote. Changes after kickoff are handled as change packs, not refunds.

If we cancel a project for reasons other than your breach or misuse, we will refund prepaid fees for work we have not delivered.

Promotional or zero-dollar codes have no cash value.

The site, chat, and services are provided as available. To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for a project is limited to the fees you paid us for that project. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or third-party platform outages (app stores, hosting, payment networks).

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before any formal dispute, email support@vilhelm.studio and allow a reasonable time to resolve the issue in good faith.

We may update these terms; the “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised terms.
